Sarita was born in the Guntur District of India. Both her parents were unwell and unable to work and struggled to care for her. Her uncle helped where he could and realised that she would be helped if she could get schooling. He approached the Good Samaritan Orphanage and managed to get her a place there. He knew she would be cared for and given an education.
Ratnam (founder and president) managed to get her an English sponsor through our UK Charity. Sarita thrived and worked hard at all her studies. She gained entrance to college and is now in her third year of studies at M.L.R. Institute of Pharmacy doing a doctorate in Pharmacy. What a change has been made in Sarita’s life and, through the sponsorship scheme, she is fulfilling her hopes for the future.
